Bisher beste Bilanz auf der ENTSORGA-ENTECO präsentiert

Die Menge an recyceltem PVC erreicht erneut einen Höchststand. „Für das Jahr 2005 schätzen wir die Zunahme gegenüber dem Vorjahr auf über zehn Prozent.“, erklärt Werner Preusker, Geschäftsführer der Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC und Umwelt e.V. (AgPU).

Zu verdanken ist dieser Erfolg der stetigen Informationsarbeit von AgPU und „Aktion: PVC-Recycling“, einer Interessengemeinschaft der Recyclingsysteme für Bodenbeläge (AgPR), Dachbahnen (Roofcollect), Fenster (Rewindo), Planen (EPCoat) und Rohre (KRV). Schon in den ersten drei Quartalen 2006 liegen die Recyclingmengen auf Rekordniveau. So verzeichnete z.B. die Fenster-Recycling-Initiative Rewindo bis Ende September ca. 8.000 t recyceltes PVC, das für die Produktion neuer Fenster-Profile eingesetzt wird. Auf das Jahr hochgerechnet sind fast 10.000 t aus der Verwertung von Fenstern und Rollläden zu erwarten. Dies entspricht rund 500.000 Fenstern und damit der Fensterzahl von 50.000 Eigenheimen, also einer ganzen Kleinstadt. Die „Aktion: PVC-Recycling“ erwartet bei allen genannten Produkten bis Ende 2006 eine Recyclingmenge von insgesamt ca. 14.000 t.

PVC-Verwerterliste jetzt noch komfortabler

Mit der völlig neu überarbeiteten PVC-Verwerterliste unter www.agpu.com steht für Abfallbesitzer, Entsorger, Abbruchunternehmen, kommunale Abfallberater etc. darüber hinaus für alle PVC Abfälle ein weiteres wichtiges Hilfsmittel zur Verfügung. Zu den Recyclinglösungen für sortenreine, verschmutzte und vermischte PVC-Abfälle gibt es jetzt eine komfortable Suchfunktion. Damit können Interessenten auch gezielt nach Recyclingprodukten suchen.

PVC Recycling Continues to be Successful

Best Result to Date Presented at ENTSORGA-ENTECO

The amount of recycled  PVC has once again reached a new high. “For 2005 we estimate that the increase over the previous year to be over ten per cent,â€? said Werner Preusker, Managing Director or Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC und Umwelt e.V. (AgPU).

This success is due to the constant information work by AgPU and “Campaign: PVC Recycling", a community of interests representing the recycling systems for floor coverings (AgPR), roofing membranes (Roofcollect), windows (Rewindo), sheets (EPCoat) and pipes (KRV). The recycling levels are at a record level just for the first three quarters of 2006. For example, the Rewindo window recycling initiative reported approx. 8,000 t of recycled PVC by the end of September, which will be used for the production of new window profiles. Extrapolated for the year, almost 10,000 t can be expected from the recovery of windows and shutters. That corresponds to around 500,000 windows, the equivalent of the windows from 50,000 houses, in other words a whole small town. “Campaign: PVC Recycling� expects a total recycling quantity of approx. 14,000 t by the end of 2006 for all of the abovementioned products.

List of PVC Recyclers Now Even Easier to Use
The completely revised List of PVC Recyclers at www.agpu.com is another important aid concerning all PVC waste for waste owners, disposers, demolition companies, local authority waste advisers, etc. There is now an easy-to-use search function for the recycling solutions for unmixed, dirty and mixed PVC waste. Interested parties can also specifically search for recycled products.
