So that dirt can be tackled properly, the most durable synthetic-fibre bristles first have to be produced as brush attachments. As the raw material for these special fibres, Braun & Wettberg, among others, use ground rigid-PVC production scraps from packaging production and thereby help valuable raw materials achieve a second life cycle. 

 The new fibres made of old PVC display their well-known superior material properties. These durable long-life bristles are not only moisture- and heat-resistant, they also hold up well when exposed to acid and oil. 

 In order to tackle the worst dirt, folks from Beerfelden have thought up something unique: the largest street cleaning brush in the world. It has even found its way into the famous Guinness Book of World Records.

An environmentally friendly means of transport needs an equally environmentally friendly parking place. That was the basic idea of the product developers at CABKA GmbH in Weira. Their solution: a bike stand made of PVC recyclate.

But this parking place for bikes is not only kind to the environment. The tried and tested material properties of PVC also mean that it is fit for purpose. The parking place is practically indestructible, withstanding wind and rain for many years and is resistant to salt and oil. Because of its own substantial weight it doesn’t need any foundation and is also very easy to assemble.
